If it seems like Tabby 5 burst onto the ReMix scene from out of nowhere, they did. But that’s what a phenomenon does — unannounced, unexpected, they capture your heart and imagination. And so it is with these five performers, who have the voices, the look and the attitude to shake things up and win over fans. And it’s not just kittens who are meowing for more.
Some of pop’s biggest stars have been boy bands, from early pioneers Mousin’ Around to the slick production of NOSEBOOP to Tigerz 4 Treats, who created their own legendary genre known as Mew Snack Swing. Tabby 5 channels the very best of these phenoms into something new yet familiar, featuring five-part harmonies, a stylish wardrobe, dance moves made for social media and cutting-edge production that appeals to young fans without alienating older ones.

Tyler Snuggles
Growing up in a litter of one, Tyler Snuggles had all the feels, but no way to let them out. Spending hours in his room, he’d pen journal entries and try his paw at poetry. Through it all he listened to the radio and soaked in lyrical lessons: the love of Heart & Paws, the pensive raw emotion of Wake Me Up I’m Napping, the delicate introspection of Felicity Underfoot. Slowly he made the connection between his emotions and music and understood that the right way to express himself was in song. He started a routine: home from school, snack on Meow Mix® Tenders in Sauce With Real Tuna & Whole Shrimp, then write and practice songs until he fell asleep. Turns out hard work does pay off, as Tyler was the very first member welcomed into the Tabby 5 fold — and now he’s showing his emotions to fans across the world.
Charlie Plum
Have you heard the one about the funniest cat in showbiz? He’s not on a sitcom, and he’s not writing the next blockbuster. Charlie Plum has a natural child-like wit that wins over fans. He’s constantly ready with a quip — or an elaborate prank. But his true passion is music, and his knack for performance and loveable personality were his ticket in. When his former roommate Casey Calico tipped him off about a spot in Tabby 5, Charlie knew he’d found a new crew. He packed up his Meow Mix® Poultry Selects Variety Pack, headed to LA and set his sights on stardom.
The intense pressure of creative five-part vocal harmonies can take a toll on even the most ardent student of the form. Tabby 5 is lucky that Charlie’s always on the spot with a melody that’s as clever as his next prank.
Casey Calico
Casey Calico didn’t choose music — the music chose him. A rebel from the start, Casey disdained “the rules”, opting to go wherever he was told not to, like behind the refrigerator or inside the basement drop ceiling. Even the dangliest of toys couldn’t hold his attention. If not for his love of Meow Mix® Tenders in Sauce With Real Chicken & Liver, served by his Nonna every Sunday, his family feared he might pack his bindle and leave. Amongst this chaos, a laser pointer of hope emerged: Casey absolutely loved to sing, instantly dropping whatever he was doing whenever he heard a song he knew to meow along at maximum volume. Realizing this, his family sought out any opportunity to steer Casey into the vocal arts, enrolling him in touring stage musicals to keep him out of trouble. All that training led directly to a spot in Tabby 5, where he’s mostly chilled out. (Just don’t get into a hissing match with him.)
Perry Purrty
Perry Purrty always had a song in his heart. He just didn’t know how to express it. His parents, loving and endlessly patient, supported him as he tried his hand at guitar, harmonica, synthesizer, hurdy-gurdy and even drums across country, polka, rock and power electronics. Unfortunately, nothing stuck. Frustrated, he went to an abandoned warehouse to collect his thoughts, where discontent finally boiled over into feverish dance — wild, unchoreographed but filled with a manic energy. This was it, the truest expression of the music he had inside of him. Perry committed to studying the elegant and artistic dancers who came before him, but never sacrificed the melodies he learned through his years of artistic trials, making him a perfect fit for the ranks of Tabby 5.
While no longer living with his parents, Perry always makes time to stop in and enjoy Meow Mix® Chunks in Gravy With Real Chicken Breast when he’s in town. (His parents are very happy he finally found his muse, by the way.)
Tommy Claw
The son of a couture fashion designer and a CEO of an upscale textile mill, Tommy Claw was born with fabulousness in his veins. Always on the cutting edge of what’s hip, Tommy set trends in school with a clothing line he designed himself, predicted the rise of Disco Grunge, and even consulted with Luna on her glamorous diamond-studded collar. Alas, many people thought this made Tommy aloof, when all he really wanted was some BFFs to pal around with and maybe share some Meow Mix® Paté in Gravy With Real Chicken & Beef. Longing to find his tribe, Luna’s stage manager tipped him off to a new band, made up of misfits and oddballs, each with their own thing. Maybe he would be interested in trying out? The answer was a “yes,” and after three weeks of intensive vocal lessons to perfect his meow, Tommy was on stage adding flair and sparkle to Tabby 5 every night.
